Michelle Violet RN BSN CWS
Mrs.Violet stands as a luminary in the field of wound care, with over 35 years of dedicated experience and a trail of groundbreaking contributions to her name. Renowned for her expertise, compassion, and unwavering commitment to patient well-being, Michelle has left an indelible mark on the healthcare landscape through her clinical practice, published research articles and educational endeavors.
Mrs.Violet embarked on her illustrious career as a nurse over 30 years ago, driven by a passion for healing and a desire to make a difference in the lives of patients facing complex wound challenges. Over the decades, she has honed her skills and expertise through hands-on experience, academic pursuits, and continuous learning, emerging as a leading authority in the field. She is a Diplomat of the American Board of Wound Management.
Mrs.Violet’s impact extends beyond the bedside, as she has dedicated herself to educating the next generation of healthcare professionals in the art and science of wound care. As a mentor, lecturer, and educator, she imparts her wealth of knowledge and expertise to aspiring nurses and medical professionals, instilling in them the importance of compassion, competence, and continuous improvement in the pursuit of excellence in patient care.
Throughout her illustrious career, Michelle Violet has embodied the highest ideals of nursing practice – compassion, expertise, and a relentless dedication to advancing the field of wound care. Her pioneering spirit, coupled with her unwavering commitment to patient advocacy, has left an enduring legacy that will continue to inspire and influence generations of healthcare professionals for years to come. Michelle has combined her love of the elderly and wound care knowledge to create nationally recognized pressure injury prevention programs for hospital organizations, earning her the Hope Award in 2021.
